Which Would You Wear?

Although we both manage this blog, we wanted to give readers a sense of our individuality as well.  We thought you would want to see our unique sense of fashion and clothing styles, so we came up with the idea to each pick a prom dress we would wear, and to post a picture of it on our blog.  Each dress expresses the unique styles we like.  Let us know what you think…..and which dress you would be more inclined to wear to prom!

The first dress Madison picked out.  Strapless and a brilliant shade of red, this dress is tdesigned he famous princess style.  Layored with red tulle and a bit of sparkle, it would go well with Madison's straight, blonde hair.  Of course, she would need to change it up a little bit for prom.

This is the dress Maddie picked out. A flowy turquoise chiffon dress, which is light in mood with a touch of elegance.  The bodice is jeweled, with a dip in the neckline.

A Trip to Chebeague Island

This summer, June 2012, we went to Chebeague, a small island off the coast of Maine, close to Portland.  It took us four hours to drive up there, and we took a ferry across to get the island’s port.  We stayed for a week.  There were a lot of nice beaches there that we spent hours at every day, and we both collected pieces of broken China and sea glass.
Here are some pictures we think you’ll enjoy from your vacation:

The pier jump.  About 30 feet at middle tide – you climb onto the railing and up onto the small house...and then jump!

One of the restaurants on the island that we ate at for dinner.  (Maddie) thought that the table setting with the landscape behind it made a great picture.  Across the water you can see the mainland.

This photo of a China collection was taken in the afternoon, when the sun highlighted the sea shell and made the China pieces look white.  The next picture is an example of the beautiful designs that some of the China pieces had.

The famous “Buoy- house.”  Covered in over a hundred buoys, probably collected from the ocean and local beaches.
